Another style is the dropped shoulder which is equally expected this year. This style will give the impression that the size of the outfit is a bit too large and the line for the shoulder will just dropped a bit. It can make for a great looking outfit and most important, it is in fashion so you should start thinking about which style will suit you best.

Clothes can represent tradition and every nation has special costumes that show of their values and beliefs. In the sixteen century, Japanese outfits were basically the same for more than a thousand years thus showing their strong traditions and the will to pass it on from generation to generation. Not far away, Chinese clothing was known for the changing that occurred periodically, the beginning of fashion seasons. Changes in clothing usually appeared along with economic change with influences from other cultures.

The colors are very important and for spring 2012 it is expected that colors like orange and green will play a big role. Such colors were already strong this year and we can only expect them to become even stronger so if you were thinking about buying those green pants, maybe now would be the perfect time.

As far as suits go, they play a big role in fashion for men so, for 2012, we can expect to see loose suits such as we do now but taken a bit more. In average, men fashion trends change a lot slower than women fashion trends and when it comes to suits, this is even slower. The good thing is that if you buy a nice fashionable suit now, chances are that you will still be able to wear it next year without it seeming out of place. The double breasted blazer has already started to make a comeback and we expect to see a lot more of them in fashion shows.

That clean white which we saw for some seasons now seems to disappear. Instead, we have a dirty white, a color which is meant to show a rebellious side, which is what most fashion trends are about now; showing the individual within the masses.

Something which most of us won’t mind saying goodbye to is the skinny look. It looks like this style has had its time in the spotlight and it is slowly falling out of rank. To replace it, we have wider outfits which look much more comfortable. This is also available for suits and not just for street wear.

We can expect to see the big designers going back to the wider designs, the loose outfits and the longer lines. Since we know where fashion is headed, we can keep a look out on the items we like and make sure that we always look our best and that we follow the latest fashion trends.

Converse remains a solid competitor for Puma and Adidas although they had a few problems in the early 70’s. Now they have a certain style which is recognized by everyone and this is what will keep them in the running for a long time. The sneakers remain fashionable items no matter if they are worn on the hard wood or the sidewalk.

Craig was born in 1964 in Midaluich – a town near Manchester, where he spent some time working as a mechanic. But photography was his passion. Due to his impressive pictures he got different proposals for the implementation of advertising campaigns for big names from the fashion world like Gilles Sander and Calvin Klein. On the top of this he was invited to work for the  editorial orders of the famous journals “Harper’s Bazaar” and ” Vogue.

Since than the career of the British photographer is extremely successful. His name appears on the top pictures and fashion campaigns of many fashion barnds like Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, Oscar de la Renta, Yves Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein and Estee Lauder. His photographs are distributed regularly in the magazines “Vogue”, “W” and “Another Magazine”. Although Craig McDean deals mainly with fashion photography, he is very popular with the portraits he is shooting of celebrities: Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Nicole Kidman, Natalie Portman, Jennifer Aniston, Milan Kunis, Joaquin Phoenix, and others.

McDean is a renowned master, because of his distinctive techniques. The most interesting in his pictures is the translucent skin surface of his models. In fact, they look more like sculptures than real person, but the photos look amazingly bright and sharp. To achieve this result, McDean works in tandem with his colleague – the makeup artist Pat McGrath.

There is only one thing that makes this particular perfume so great and unique. This is his secret hidden in time… The legend says that the fragrance was created for Coco Chanel in 1921 by the chemist Ernest Beaux. The story of its creation is veiled in the lakes and rivers of the Arctic and its white nights. Ernest Beaux was inspired by the flavors of the Arctic, where a year earlier he was on a military mission. Previously, he was the perfumer of the Russian imperator, for whom he created quite a few flavors. So part of the technology used in these perfumes, was applied in the creation of Chanel ? 5.

Coco Chanel wanted to create a new perfume, which to smell longer than all fragrances used at that time. She didn’t prefer traditional ingredients, but was searching for something completely new. And the magic was created! Unlike all the perfumes of the time, who had most often only one flower essence, the legendary ? 5was the first in the history of perfumery, which was a mixture of over 80 separate ingredients in the composition.

The top notes are of bergamot flavor, which stirs a sense of Arctic freshness. They are followed by essences of lily, ylang-ylang and jasmine. In the bottom of the aromatic blend oak moss, amber, vanilla, patchouli, and sandalwood can be found. The use of aldehydes is revolutionary for the time. These are synthesized organic compounds, carbon, oxygen and hydrogen, which give natural color and sophisticated abstract essences.

The mystery of number 5 adds new legend to the creation of the famous perfume. When the blend was developed, Ernest Beaux presented to Chanel a few bottles of fragrances, numbered 1-5 and 20-24. Coco Chanel picked out without hesitation ? 5. This is not accidental. Five is the magic figure of Chanel. On May 5, 1921 she presented her designer’s collection together with her new perfume. Even today there is no better known and timeless fragrance than Chanel ? 5. It is recognized as the most famous flavor of the 20th century.

The mystic East in combination with exotic hot “latino” blood comes directly from the fashion catwalk to make appointments to the podium. Carolina Herrera, a designer with Venezuelan origin, has shown a mix of exotic volumes, shapes and colors. Her dresses are imprinted with calligraphic elements, prints of flowers and hummingbirds. The length is to the knee, feminine fabrics with huge cut and discrete, tight body, are used not only to present, but also mainly to underline the romantic and mysterious female figure.

Ribbons are also in vogue and can be used as an integral part of each model.  Long thick cloth, folded under the breast line or thin and almost invisible on the cross: the designs for summer offer all possibilities. Carolina Herrera has presented traditional costume from Korea in a modern and sexy look. Inspired from the XVIII century it has very fashionable details: a silk cord around the waist, split seams, floral prints, fake plates and inscriptions from the same century. Colors are ivory, beige and the very popular in summer orange. The olive notes, grassy green color also make the feeling of a green, blossoming garden. Embroideries of flowers, leaves and eastern motifs like porcelain lotus are very welcome.

Another possibility to look at the East traditions and culture is to be inspired by the Vivienne Westwood models for summer. The starting point of her collections is again the freshness and warmth of the season. Westwood is inspired by the Japanese theatre, priestess of love and Tutankhamun. Mini and maxi extravagant forms of crinoline, corset with matching masks describe her look at the hot emotions of the season. References to past civilizations and many heart-shaped details can be found in her collections.

Voluminous dresses and skirts in extended cut, split into sheaves and shoulders draped bodices reveal the silhouette of the modern woman. And here the same eastern detail can be found: a ribbon belt around the waist. Black and white mini corsets show bare belly and can be worn with long flared skirts. Huge volumes of crinoline dresses are wrapped in leather belts with several metal accents. Very fashionable are shirts and skirts in check fabrics. The length is at least above the knee.

Take a look at the styles for this season and you will see a tendency for modernism but also something a bit more classic. The truth is that stylists have decided to bring back some of the forgotten styles, put some flavor on it and revive new looks.

There has been an increased interest for the look that doesn’t require much effort and although it may be easy to do, it is very original and in fashion. The double hair knot can give that rebellious look to any woman and the great thing about is that it can be done in just a few seconds.

Another style which you can try to get a new look may seem a bit too much at first but you can grow to love it. Hair stylists call it the bird’s nest bun and although it is not the first on the list of most consumers, it does give a certain aspect to the one that wears it. If you think you will look good and if you want to try something a bit out of the box, this is a great option.

The next two styles you might like depend on the length of your hair and how you would like to have it in the future. The pixie crop haircut is very stylish and it will make you look young and playful but it does require you cutting your hair pretty short. If you want to have longer hair, you can try a bob with fringe haircut. This will give a more mysterious look and will make your lips stand out.

For many experts, the observation of men’s wear is much more interesting, the trends there could be much more exciting and unexpected, compared to women fashion. Especially in London – the city, which is the Mecca of experimentalists. In fact, since several seasons both male and female trends are aligned to the utmost. There are a lot of persons who cannot accept this fashion, which is not suitable “for the street”. However, there are others, who are happy to see interesting details and are ready to make experiments.

Well, you will not be surprised that the main colors in men fashion trends for 2011-2012 are black and grey. However, red, yellow, blue, orange, and other bold colours appear absolutely anywhere as strong accents in combinations. The collection of several designers had many common elements, but at the sam time they were completely different as a point of view. Here are some of the names that worth attention:

Christopher Shannon. His collection was both sport and elegant. Almost all clothes, needed in the in the male wardrobe for the winter, were designed by Christopher and shown to the public. The approach to styling was eclectic one – elegant shirt and trousers, sports backpack, sheer fabrics with quilted trousers and blouses. Combinations showed were very brave, but within reasonable limits.

James Long. He is pet and favorite of the audience for several seasons. After all the colors that managed to gather in spring-summer collection, the designer, who this season for the first time showed women’s line, slightly reduce your theme in the male department. Nevertheless, his collection remains extremely interesting with lots of colours, woven details instead of knitted, that create new and new shades. Leather jackets became absolute favorite of the public.

JW Anderson. Moment of experiments were shown in the collection. The colors were from the group of neon candies, paisley prints and oversized silhouettes were typical. The designer had shown even and tight boucle sweaters over skirts…. The reactions were different: from absolutely “hosanna” to “shame”. However, many would remember the design of the long jacket with pleated back.

Topman Design. Connoisseurs usually liked this brand because they fail to capture the spirit of global trends and still lead them to the result locally. The main accents of this collection were the wide trousers with high waist and tucks, collars of fur, tweed jackets, coats and pants, combined with interesting stitch. Many liked the proposed cut of the trench coats, designed with patterned fabrics and leather collars.

Felipe Rojas Llanos. This is a very new and interesting name. Indeed, they are two young designers behind and are doing very well. You will like their minimalist way of thinking: nothing excessive, just top, trousers and coat. And that’s enough.
